Hi, my name is Mrs. Franklin and I reside in Franklin, North Carolina, located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. My husband Eddie and I moved to Franklin in Dec. 2008, to escape the brutal Michigan winters and to enjoy small town living. It is a privilege to wake up to a panoramic mountain view and fresh sweet mountain air. Some say that this is "God's Country"; I am not sure if it is due to the beauty of the area or because Franklin is known as the "Belt-Buckle" of the Bible belt. The folks here are very warm and friendly and I look forward to retirement here. In the meantime, I am pursing my career in Criminal Justice and I am pursing my passion for baking cookies, as well as other treats.

My father was the baker in my family when I was growing up, his specialty was pies, there are none better and he would be the first to tell you! I enjoy baking cookies; everyone loves them, including my dad, who asked if I would send him some for Christmas. My two favorite cookies that I make are the Chocolate Chip/Reese’s Pieces and the Butterscotch Toffee; they will delight anyone with a sweet tooth.
